These terms govern your use of the Jiu Jitsu Style app and website, operated by Vantage Method LLC. By using Jiu Jitsu Style you agree to them.
The service
Jiu Jitsu Style is a training journal for jiu jitsu. Browsing — the technique library, videos, sequences, the glossary and Community — is free. Creating your own sequences, techniques, videos and links, the AI Coach, your journal, and automatic cloud backup, restore and the web journal are part of Premium — $9.99/month or $69.99/year, with a 7-day free trial. Journal data already stored locally on your phone remains on your phone regardless of subscription status.
Subscription
- $9.99/month or $69.99/year, with a 7-day free trial on both plans, billed by Stripe (if you subscribe on the web) or Apple (if you subscribe in the app). Prices may change with notice; changes never apply retroactively to a paid period.
- Renews automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Cancel anytime — web subscriptions under Account → Manage billing, Apple subscriptions in iOS Settings → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues to the end of the paid period (including the trial, if you cancel before it ends).
- Refunds for Apple purchases follow Apple's policies; for web purchases contact us and we'll make it right within reason.
- Promotional codes (including beta-tester codes) may be limited in number, may be deactivated for new redemptions at any time, and have no cash value.
Your content
Your journal is yours. By enabling backup you grant us the limited license needed to store and display it back to you. We claim no other rights to it.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no unauthorized access attempts, no disrupting other users, no using the AI features to process content that isn't training-journal material.
Health disclaimer
Jiu Jitsu Style records what you tell it — including injuries — for your own reference. It is not medical advice. Train smart and see a professional for anything that hurts.
Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Keep your phone backed up: while we work hard to preserve your data, to the maximum extent permitted by law Vantage Method LLC is not liable for lost data, lost profits, or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
Termination
You can stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vantage Method LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If we change these terms materially we'll update this page and its effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
